 | Oak Ridge Symphony Orchestra violinists Karen Kartal and Sue Eddlemon, violist Jennifer Bloch, and cellists Ihsan Kartal and Dan Allcott (ORSO conductor) will perform Schubert's Quintet in C Major, the composer’s final instrumental work composed two months before his death in 1828.

 | A tribute to Belgian Physicist Georges-Henri Lemaitre, the concert will include a new work by composer Don Bowyer, chair of the Department of Music at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. Bowyer will play trombone along with Susan Eddlemon, violin, and Scott Eddlemon, percussion. Lemaitre was the father of the Big Bang theory and revealed that the universe is expanding!
Note: The concert will be performed in the auditorium of the American Museum of Science & Energy in Oak Ridge.
