The third annual Oak Ridge Summer Music Conservatory was held July 11-18 at the Oak Ridge Unitarian Universalist Church.

Rachel Grubb, conservatory artistic director, former ORYSO conductor, and music major at Northwestern University, provided one-week programs for teaching students how to perform on string, wind, brass, and percussion instruments, as well as piano.

The theme was Spanish Festival Music and a full festival orchestra performed.

Advanced symphony and chamber music was performed by high intermediate to advanced student musicians playing string, wind, brass, and percussion instruments.

The Piano Institute offered talented pre-college pianists (ages 11-18) the opportunity to work intensively on solo and chamber music repertoire.

The Oak Ridge Summer Conservatory features:

    Festival Full Orchestra

    Chamber Music
