The Cyrus Feldman Memorial Trust
Tonight's performance by the Ibis Camerata is underwritten by funding from the Cyrus Feldman Memorial Trust. Cy Feldman was a chemist at Oak Ridge National Laboratory and a passionate and committed supporter of music for Oak Ridge. He was twice president of the Oak Ridge Civic Music Association (ORCMA)
He was an initiator of the United Arts Fund Drive as well as an architect and officer of the Oak Ridge Festival of the Arts in the 1960s. He filled his daily life with music, savoring equally the extravagance of opera and the intimate dignity of chamber music.
After his death in 1990 at age 70, his wife Rose and their five Oak Ridge-reared children established a fund in his memory to support the ORCMA Chamber Series. We are grateful for their support and are proud to present this concert in honor of Cy Feldman.
