Most large symphony orchestra organizations in the United States are heavily in debt. The Oak Ridge Civic Music Association, the umbrella organization for the Oak Ridge Symphony Orchestra and Chorus and other concert series, has a balanced budget and is not in debt. Without your generous donations from year to year, ORSO would no longer be the longest continuous running symphony orchestra in Tennessee, a source of great pride for a city as small as Oak Ridge. ORCMA will always appreciate any donations made by individuals, companies, and other organizations and will list the names of donors in specific categories (e.g., major benefactor, patron, etc.) in our concert programs. Here are the categories and minimum donation levels:
| Grand Benefactor | $1000+ |
| Major Benefactor | $750+ |
| Benefactor | $500+ |
| Patron | $250+ |
| Sponsor | $100+ |
| Contributor | $50+ |
| Friend | $25+ |
