🎶 Oak Ridge Youth Choir
Part of the Oak Ridge Youth Arts Collective (ORYAC)
The Oak Ridge Youth Choir welcomes young singers in grades 3–8 to discover the joy of making music together! Whether your child is new to singing or already passionate about choral music, this program offers a nurturing environment to develop their voice, musicianship, and confidence.
The Oak Ridge Youth Choir will meet on Tuesday evenings from 6:30–8:00 PM starting Sept 9th at First Baptist Church of Oak Ridge. Directed by Gigi Naeve and led by professional vocal instructors and local educators, the choir focuses on healthy singing technique, music reading, and ensemble skills. Performances throughout the season will include special collaborations with the Oak Ridge Chorus.

Voice Lessons & Technique
Students learn healthy vocal production, breath control, pitch accuracy, and tone development from experienced vocal coaches. -
Ensemble Experience
Singing in harmony, learning to blend, and performing as a group helps develop musicality, listening skills, and team spirit. -
Performance Opportunities
Regular concerts and community events allow students to shine on stage, gain confidence, and share their gifts. -
Musicianship & Ear Training
We include fun and engaging activities to strengthen rhythm, sight-reading, and musical understanding. -

Tuesdays, 6:00 – 7:30 PM / Full schedule will be posted soon. We will operate on the Oak Ridge School Schedule

Parental Involvement: We encourage parents to take an active role in supporting their children’s musical journey through volunteer opportunities and participation in our parent committee.
