Play It Forward TN

We are thrilled to announce a new partnership between Play it Forward and ORCMA!
Play it Forward, is a St. Louis-based program founded in 2006, they are dedicated to ensuring every child has the opportunity to discover their musical talents. Through our new partnership, we are expanding the reach to further this cause.
Play it Forward is ORCMA’s community-powered instrument lending initiative designed to place quality instruments into the hands of those who need them most. Whether you're a student just beginning your musical journey, an educator needing resources for your classroom, or an adult looking to rekindle your passion for music—this program is for you.
Who Can Participate?
-
Young musicians who need access to an instrument to begin or continue their studies
-
Classrooms and teachers seeking additional instruments for students
-

How It Works
With the help of generous donors, we collect, repair, and lend orchestral and band instruments to local individuals and schools. This year, we’ve already placed:
-

-
🎼 A Cello
-
🎷 A Clarinet and Flute
-
🎵 An Oboe
All in the hands of aspiring and returning musicians right here in our community.
How You Can Help

-
Spread the word: Let teachers, families, and fellow musicians know about Play it Forward.
