Join us for the Oak Ridge Youth Orchestra and Choir (ORYAC) concert as our talented young musicians showcase their growth and artistry this season!

ORYAC’s Youth Choir will perform a selection of works highlighting vocal development and teamwork, while the Youth Orchestra shares formative favorites for developing orchestral musicians, including Gargoyles, American Landscape, and music from Disney Pixar’s Up.

The Oak Ridge Youth Chamber Ensemble presents an inspiring set of arrangements honoring music from opera, chamber, and solo literature—including the premiere of a new work by Tennessee Tech University student composer Reagan Lueker.

This program’s wide variety reflects music’s power to educate, inspire, and unite, an experience sure to delight performers and audience alike!

We are thrilled to be part of a nationwide initiative by the League of American Orchestras this season. “Composing Our Tomorrow” celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the Youth Orchestra Division of the League of American Orchestras by empowering local youth orchestras to commission and premiere new works.

Our commissioned work, The Scarlett Turret by Reagan Lueker, will be entered into a national database of youth orchestra repertoire so that other orchestras can perform our commission, too. All music was new once, and we invite you to experience this special performance.
