Holding a master's degree both in Viola Performance and in Voice Performance, Canadian contralto, violist & violinist Julie Bélanger Roy has been active on many scenes: Symphony Orchestra, Opera, Early Music, Folk, Pop, Rock and Metal.

Ms. Bélanger Roy’s last opera performances include the role of La Zia Principessa in Marble City Opera production of Suor Angelica, Tituba in the University of Tennessee production of The Crucible and Suor Zelatrice in the Utah Festival Opera & Musical Theatre production of Suor Angelica.

Ms. Bélanger Roy's last orchestra performances include engagements with the Symphony of the Mountains, Oak Ridge Symphony Orchestra and Knoxville Symphony Orchestra.
