Carlos Hernandez

Violin

Carlos Hernandez was born in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico in 1990. It is here that he started his violin studies at the age of 9. Finding his love of music, he decided to make it his life’s career. He later on went to the US to continue his studies in music.

Carlos currently holds a Bachelor of Music, a Master of Music, and an Artis Diploma in Violin Performance, as well as a Master of Music in Music Education.

Professionally, he has played with different orchestras such as Puerto Rico Symphony Orchestra, Columbus Symphony Orchestra, Symphony of the Mountains, and others.

Currently, Carlos Hernandez teaches orchestra at Oak Ridge High School and plays in different ensembles through Knoxville and the surrounding areas.
