Jaeliana Kanko

Double Bass - Fellow

Jaeli Kanko is a junior at Oak Ridge High School who has been playing double bass for almost five years. She began playing double bass at 11 years old in Nashville, Tennessee, and since then has qualified for and participated in honors ensembles such as the MTSBOA Junior Honors Orchestra Ensemble, ETSBOA Junior Orchestra Honors Ensemble, ETSBOA All-East Orchestra, Knoxville Youth Symphony Chamber Orchestra, TNMEA All-State 9-10 Orchestra, and MTSU's Governors School for the Arts. She has played multiple times with the Oak Ridge Symphony and has helped with and attended many ORCMA events. Outside of orchestra, Jaeli likes to read, crochet, and bake.
