Jaeliana Kanko
Double Bass - Fellow
Jaeli Kanko is a senior at Oak Ridge High School who has been playing double bass for six years. She began playing double bass at 11 years old in Nashville, Tennessee, and since then has qualified for and participated in honors ensembles such as the MTSBOA Junior Honors Orchestra Ensemble, ETSBOA Junior Orchestra Honors Ensemble, ETSBOA All-State East Orchestra, TNMEA All-State 9-10 Orchestra, MTSU's Governors School for the Arts, Knoxville Youth Symphony Orchestra, Bass Works camp, and Oak Ridge Youth Orchestra. She has played multiple times with the Oak Ridge Symphony and has helped with and attended many ORCMA events. Outside of orchestra, Jaeli likes to read, crochet, and bake.
