Bass Trombone, Trombone

My first concert with ORSO was October 26, 2002. I played when available during Serge' final seasons, then continuously once Cornelia came on board and through Dan's tenure to present. I relocated to east Tennessee in 1998 from Nashville. While there I served as substitute / extra musician for Nashville Symphony ( all three charis ), Sewanee and Middle Tennessee ( Murfreesboro ) Symphonies while maintaining a busy playing and teaching schedule. I am currently acting principal trombone in Symphony of the Mountains, having played there regularly since January 2004. i also play lead trombone in the Knoxville Jazz Orchestra as a founding member. I direct the Knoxville Jazz Youth Orchestra and the Walters State - Sevier Community Concert Band. I'm on the faculty at Maryville College as brass instructor. I have played as substitute, extra trombonist for Knoxville Symphony since arriving in 1998. I continue to freelance in the area and maintain a roster of Knoxville area students as well as here in Sevier County.
