David Overall

French Horn

David, a freelance hornist in Knoxville, TN studied at the University of Tennessee under Calvin Smith with additional instruction from James Thatcher and Joseph Meyer. He performed as 4th horn for several years with the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra. In 2022, he joined the Knoxville Amadeus Concert Ensemble as 4th horn.

Classical performance aside, he also entertains as front man and mellophonium/s in his long-standing blues band, Leftfoot Dave and the Magic Hats, active since 2009.
