Lydia Schoen

Oboe, English Horn

Lydia Schoen has been principal English Horn with Oak Ridge Symphony for twenty years. She also serves as principal oboist with Marble City Opera. She attended University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music as well as UT Knoxville. She has performed Jennifer Higdon’s Soliloquy for English horn as guest soloist with the Orchestra at Maryville College and has performed Aaron Copland’s Quiet City with Oak Ridge Symphony.
